.Net Developer
6 month plus contract to hire
Mesquite, TX
Our client is looking for a seasoned .Net Developer that can work and develop Web Applications that would be used in a Business to Business (B2B) capacity. They have multiple clients that use these individual applications with each varying in complexity. There will be New Development, Support and Enhancements to each of these applications over time.
Ideal candidates will have:
5-7 years Programming experience with Classic ASP and ASP.NET, using C# and .NET Framework versions 2.0 ? 4.
Visual Studio 2008 and higher
.NET 4 / C# 4
MVC3 & 4
ASP.NET Web Forms (ASPX)
Understanding of ASP.NET
Excellent skills in SQL Server Management Studio and SQL.
Web Services
Ability to multi task
Organized and diligent with source control (preferably with TFS 2010 server)
Ability to support existing web applications and use debugging skills to resolve issues with these systems.
Intimate knowledge of IIS
Excellent communication skills
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Environment
This opening is for an application programmer supporting a variety of software including web sites, web applications, windows applications, stored procedures, reports, and more. Requirements will be for both new development and maintenance of existing applications.
Requires dedicated, Jack of all trades type personality with ability to take on a variety of projects and issues.
Developers track and categorize their time using simple logging tools.
On-Call is required at times
No routine travel is required. All work is performed in Mesquite
