Major Position
Responsibilities:
This position will be located at the new GD-OTS facility located in Mesquite.
Summary:
Provides executive assistance for the General Manager and Senior Management and additional functional roles as described below.
Essential Functions:
Frequently interacts with SBU administrative staff Schedules meetings and manages Outlook calendars Coordinates and arranges business travel Prepares expense reports (occasionally involves foreign currency conversion) Prepares and arranges for onsite tours and visitors Arranges for onsite meeting meals Arranges for offsite meetings Orders office supplies Enters requisitions Arranges for maintenance / repair of office equipment Performs various functions in MRP system Schedules conference calls Prepares Federal Express packages Copies / scans / distributes printed materials Sorts all incoming mail Prepares NDAs as required; maintains electronic document files and log, prepares and adds completed NDAs to Sharepoint Additional tasks such as cost tracking, daily calendar maintenance, monthly dashboard metrics assistance #LI-PC1 Basic
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma (some college preferred) 3 to 5 years work experience in a similar position / environment.
Job Dimensions (Budget, Staff, Work Environment, etc.
):
Reports to the General Manager.
Operates under general direction and exercises limited independent judgement.
The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet.

Must be accurate, approachable, dependable, detail-oriented, efficient, flexible, organized, professional, a team player, thorough, timely, and trustworthy.
Must possess the ability to work with others in a fast-paced environment.
Must possess excellent spelling, grammar, proofreading, and writing skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
Must be well versed in Internet usage.
Must be able to operate office equipment.
Preferred:
Experience with start ups, such as project planning, and establishing business processes, management systems, and work instructions is desired.

Physical Demands:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
